During this workshop, learn how to create a small but functional basket using the beginner-friendly Frame basketry technique. You will leave with a completed basket and hopefully remember how to repeat it! This workshop will be held by Tom who has experience in the fields of ecology and horticulture and has been making baskets for a few years with the aim of using them to restore a place-based ecological relationship with Wirral.
The event will take place over 6 hours and will be held at the Wirral Environment Network hub at 100 Falkland Rd, Wallasey, CH44 8ER.
The building is wheelchair accessible but please contact Tom via email - [email protected] - for any additional access requirements or queries. Please bring your own lunch and snacks, teas and coffee will be provided.
Cost: £45 per person
