Assessment
You are assessed through:
- Active participation in the classroom session

- Practical competence checks using relevant resuscitation equipment.
Certification is issued only after the required classroom activities and practical assessment elements have been successfully completed.
Accreditation and certification
- This Basic Life Support Level 2 course is externally reviewed and accredited by the CPD Certification Service (CPDUK).
- On successful completion, you will be able to download a digital CPD certificate from your ComplyPlus™ LMS account.
- The certificate is valid for 1 year unless refresher training is required earlier.
- Earlier refresher training may be required where there are changes to legislation, Resuscitation Council UK guidance, employer policy, equipment, working practices, risk assessment, learner role, workplace risks or identified competence requirements.

- Your CPD-accredited certificate is issued only after you have attended the face-to-face session, participated in the required activities and successfully completed the practical competence checks.

Step 2: Choose your session date

Step 3: Attend the classroom session
You will attend a 3-hour face-to-face session at our Coventry Training Centre. The session includes trainer-led teaching, demonstrations, discussion, supervised practice and competence checks.
Step 4: Receive your certificate
Your digital CPD certificate is issued after successful completion of the course. You will be able to download your certificate from your ComplyPlus™ LMS account.

Practical sessions are delivered in small groups using relevant Basic Life Support training equipment, including CPR manikins, AED trainers and supporting assessment resources.
