The Natural Philosopher is teaming up with London’s first modern-day pickle brand, Sexy Pickles, to bring you an unconventional, sensory-bending pairing session. We’re moving past the quick pickleback shot and diving deep into how complex acid, salt, and crunch interact with the evolving flavours of exceptional whisky.

Sexy Pickles
The UK's pickle scene has been playing it safe for decades - soft gherkins, predictable flavours, zero ambition. Sexy Pickles is here to fix that. Founded by Lyndsay, a pickle-obsessed Canadian who moved to London and couldn't find a crunchy non-sweet gherkin anywhere, Sexy Pickles makes the UK's first North American-style crunchy, savoury gherkins, alongside pickled pineapple and Great Taste award-winning pickled garlic and spiced pickled grapes. Some people are already pickle-obsessed. Others just haven't met the right pickle. Either way, welcome to the pickle revolution.

From the duo behind the UK’s ‘weirdest’ bar, The Last Tuesday Society, and Devil’s Botany - the only absinthe distillery in the UK — comes a place that does things its own way. Part whisky bar, part cocktail bar, and a half-pint boozer.
Low lights, strong drinks, and a whisky list that never sits still — 20 bottles, always changing, each chosen for character over credentials. When one’s gone, something new rolls in. No ceremony, just good whisky. Pickles are also serious business at NP. Inspired by the Brooklyn bars that made the pickleback famous, we do them justice with pickle plates, pickleback sours, and whisky with pickle pairings.
