If you wield rattan or steel then you know of the appeal of Baroness’ Inspiration Tournament! Join Baroness Brynja Kortsdottir and Baron Malyss Makneile as they watch skilled fighters vie to be the Cut & Thrust Champion of Lions Gate! Steel and Iron Rose tournaments will be held for gender-minority rapier and armoured heavy participants!
And last but not least, the best Open Field Prize Tournaments for Rapier and Armoured Heavy fighters in the Kingdom is back! Bring a suitable prize as an entry fee and test your mettle against martial peers and non-peers alike, and when the dust settles the martial peers will step back as the participants get to pick prizes off the table in reverse order of placement!
A full day of fighting will be the backdrop to an array of activities sure to keep everyone busy! Medieval games, merchants galore, and classes to provoke curiosity and foster learning will be supplemented with a soup and bun lunch (for a suggested $5 donation) and capped off with a potluck feast at the end of the night, complete with tavern! Please, no outside alcohol is permitted on site!
New this year! Join us Friday night, January 15, as we set up the hall! We will have games and tavern so people can be social while we ready the hall for the next day’s festivities! Drop off your armour and kit too!
Site fees: Adults: $40, under 19: FREE
