🐾🎃 GET READY, WILKES COUNTY — HOWL-O-WEEN FUN IS COMING! 🎃🐾There’s going to be a fun-filled day of Howl-O-Ween activities happening throughout Wilkes County, and we’re adding even MORE fun to the day with BarktoberFest 2026! 🐶🧡
📅 Saturday, October 24, 2026
⏰ 10AM–3PM
📍 Wilkes Wags & Wiggles | 325 West Park Circle, North Wilkesboro
We are SO excited to announce that this year’s BarktoberFest theme is...
🏡🐾 GOTCHA DAY! 🐾🏡
We’re bringing together some amazing local organizations who work every day to make a difference for animals in our community:
🐾 Wilkes Rescue Group — our 2026 BarktoberFest beneficiary!
🐾 Humane Society of Wilkes
🐾 Critter Ridge Rescue
🐾 Wilkes County Animal Shelter
Bring YOUR furbabies and come spend the day with us! There will be local vendors, adoptable dogs, food & treats, games, bingo, raffles, Howl-O-Ween fun, our costume contest at 12:30PM, and plenty of opportunities to meet some pretty amazing dogs looking for someone to love.
Maybe you’re not looking to adopt — that’s okay! Come anyway. ❤️ Bring your own furbaby, shop local, meet our rescue organizations, learn about fostering and volunteering, make some memories, and help us show these animals just how much our community cares.
Please SHARE and help us spread the word throughout Wilkes County! The more people we reach, the more opportunities we have to connect a deserving furbaby with the family they’ve been waiting for.
