About this Event
Calling all dinosaur fans! Teach Rex is coming to Barking Riverside – for one day only.
This October half term, get ready for roars, baby dinosaurs and a very special encounter with a T-rex, as the multi-award-winning educational team Teach Rex brings its interactive dinosaur experience to The Wilds at Barking Riverside on Saturday 24th October 2026.
Families will be transported millions of years back in time as Teach Rex’s incredible interactive dinosaurs take over The Wilds for four shows packed with prehistoric fun, interactive learning and plenty of surprises.
Designed by primary school teachers, Teach Rex has earned more than 4,000 five-star reviews from audiences around the world and performed at major venues across the country – most recently delivering 48 live shows at London’s Natural History Museum over the summer holidays. Barking Riverside will mark the first stop on the team’s Autumn/Winter tour, just in time for half term.
Each session combines entertainment and learning, exploring the anatomy and life of Tyrannosaurus rex – one of the most incredible creatures ever to have roamed our planet. The educational show lasts approximately 30 minutes, followed by a meet-and-greet where children and families can get up close to the dinosaurs and take photographs.
Tickets are limited, so choose your show time, gather your little explorers and join us for a fun-filled start to half term at The Wilds.
