Hungarian trumpeter, pianist, and composer Barabas brings his new album Orbit to Manhattan for a special album launch concert at Chelsea Table + Stage on January 21. Blending neoclassical, ambient, electronic music and contemporary jazz, Orbit moves between intimate piano compositions, atmospheric synthesizers, and Barabas’ distinctive trumpet sound. The album explores a cinematic and meditative sound world inspired by recurring cycles, movement, and reflection. For this intimate New York performance, Barabas brings Orbit to the stage through piano, trumpet, synthesizers, and electronics.
