Bar IDA presents — one of our all time favourite labels South of North lands in Tallinn!Fry Ry & Marathon Man are a DJ duo presenting music with an open-minded DIY-leaning ethos, believing in the combined effect of things over their individual parts.
They have played regularly at Open Ground, Garage Noord, Aktionshaus and Occii. Other venues include Bonobo, forestlimit, Daphnia, Soto, Salon des Amateurs, Venue MOT, Roodkapje, Time Is the New Space, Siroco, La Makhno, Het Bos, Braille Satellite Festival, Meakusma, etc.
They have recorded radio shows for NTS, Dublab, Operator and Radio Relativa amongst others. They also design posters and record sleeves and have worked together at Red Light Records for the past 6 years. Marathon Man has been running the South of North label since 2018, Fry Ry is a constant collaborator.
