Welcome to the Reading Session by Bangalore Readers Community!
This is a space for people who love to read — not a book club with assigned reading, not a discussion group you're obligated to speak in. Just a quiet, comfortable space to read your own book, surrounded by other readers.
What to expect:
- The first 1.5 hours are for silent reading. Bring any book you're currently reading — fiction, non-fiction, poetry, whatever you're into. Find a comfortable spot, order your breakfast & coffee, and read at your own pace alongside other members.
- The last 30 minutes are for conversation — entirely optional. If you'd like to talk about what you're reading, you're welcome to do so. Or you can just listen to what others share. No pressure.
- Come alone or with a friend. Many of our members are meeting fellow readers for the first time — it's a relaxed, low-stakes way to be around people who enjoy books as much as you do.
What to bring:
Just your book (or e-reader/Kindle). No assigned reading, no reading schedule to catch up on.
A few things to know:
- Entry by RSVP only, no walk-ins allowed.
- Spots are limited, so an RSVP here reserves your place.
- The event is free but we encourage you to place a food or drink order at the cafe.
Come spend a quiet Saturday morning doing something you probably don't make enough time for — reading, uninterrupted, in good company.
