Bands Of Enchantment is throwing a street party on Central near the Kimo Theater and Headphone Dance Party and KUNM will be part of the action! We will be featuring live KUNM DJs spinning a variety of genres inside the performance space at Sister Bar from 5:30 to 8 PM. This is a bar and over 21 years old only. Sister does serve food. There is no cover charge for Sister Bar or any of the venues involved with the Bands Of Enchantment Festival. There will be two outside stages as well as numerous other venues up and down Central. Parking in downtown will be challenging because this is a big event so give yourself time. I know there is a city parking structure at 5th and Copper and another structure down the street at 4th and Copper but not sure how early those will fill up.
Digable Planets will be hitting the main stage next to the Kimo at 8 PM with Galactic to follow. The performances will be captured by the award winning Bands Of Enchantment film crew for broadcast of Season 6 of the show. You can check it out here:
