BALOO and IOLS Training Pathfinder and Orion are teaming up to bring you BALOO and IOLS training!
November 7, 8:00 AM – November 8, 1:00 PM
Location: YMCA Camp on the Lake, Highland Village
BALOO Training
This 1.5-day course introduces leaders to the Cub Scout outdoor program and is required for any Cub Scout den or pack outdoor camping event. BALOO consists of two parts: an online component (which must be completed prior to the course) and a practical, hands-on outdoor session.
IOLS Training
The Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) course provides adult leaders with practical, hands-on experience in the patrol method and basic outdoor skills needed to lead Scouts safely. Participants will experience how a Scout-led troop operates and gain confidence in taking youth outdoors.
