Ballet 808: New Works by Coleman Zurkowski

Composer Coleman Zurkowski presents an afternoon of dynamic contemporary music at the historic St. Mark’s Church in-the-Bowery. The performance features the world premiere of Ballet 808 - a ballet composed for solo TR808 drum machine - alongside selected movements from Zurkowski’s choral work Cycles and his String Quartet (2023). Bridging acoustic intimacy and modern sonic exploration, the concert highlights three years of compelling chamber and vocal compositions in one of New York City’s most storied creative spaces.
