About this Event
Join Balfour Beatty and community volunteers for a hands-on Green Apple Day of Service at Robert J. Fite Elementary School. We’ll create a new school garden and outdoor classroom featuring planters, natural stump seating, and whiteboards, providing students with an engaging space to learn, connect with nature, and explore sustainability.
Schedule
- 7:30 AM: Arrival, breakfast, and coffee
- 8:00 AM: Welcome, announcements, and project kickoff
- 12:30 PM: Project completion

What is Green Apple?
Green Apple is a resource for school district sustainability staff, school staff and administration, and community volunteers to make an existing annual service day greener, establish a new sustainable service day tradition or implement a one-off project for big impact.
