Acknowledgements:
We’re pleased to bring you this event in partnership with the Ottawa Swing Dance Society, who will be hosting The Savoy Band featuring Aleks and Dina on Friday February 19th.
About the teachers:
Aleks and Dina are social swing dancers, competitors and hobby musicians. They've been dancing, teaching, traveling, choreographing and competing together since 2019. In 2023 Dina peer-pressured Aleks into Balboa and their Balboa partnership journey took off. They value partnership, improvisation and musicality in the dance. Their collective background in music combined with Aleks’ technicality and Dina’s expressiveness create chemistry on the dance floor. As teachers, they strive to deliver lessons that are challenging yet engaging and fun. For a small taste of their dance personality, check out this video
