Drawing on his family’s Holocaust history, his own experience of disability, and Rudolf Steiner’s Philosophy of Freedom, Iddo Oberski weaves a deeply personal journey with his onstage puppet counterpart, Svjetlana, a dialogue that constantly surprises and reveals new layers of understanding.
In Balancing in Freedom, Iddo fuses storytelling, movement, puppetry, visual art, music, spoken word, magic, and philosophy into a living artwork that shifts between intimacy and spectacle, exploring what it means to be human, and our ongoing search for freedom, connection, and meaning.
