Learn how to design and sew a three-panel hat with Galaxie, a local Drexel design student!
About this Event

Learn how to design and sew a cozy three-panel hat with Galaxie, a local Philly design student at Drexel! Perfect for the coming colder months. In this personalized sewing project, Galaxie will guide you through on how to cut and sew patterns pieces, sew curves, and apply a lining to a garment or accessory. There will be different fabrics available to customize your creations. Plus, we will be using a 3 piece pattern with small and large size options.

All materials provided, including fabric, thread, sewing notions and Singer sewing machines. Optional materials to bring to the workshop:

  • All-purpose polyester thread of your color choice
  • Light to medium weight fabrics for your hat

While this is a beginner friendly workshop, we do request that you have some prior experience with machine sewing. If you have used a sewing machine before, know the basics of threading a machine, and how to sew a simple straight stitch, this workshop is perfect for you! However, we will still perform a quick run through on how to thread and operate our sewing machines. This workshop is open to folks 18+.

Space is limited in our studio- we are able to accommodate 6 attendees. Sign up now to secure your spot!
