Popular Bake Sale Ideas: Thanksgiving favorites and family-size treats are often our best sellers!
Whole Thanksgiving pies
Cinnamon rolls
Dinner rolls
Banana bread and pumpkin bread
Cookies by the dozen
Brownies and dessert bars
Gooey butter cake
Fudge, peanut clusters, and peanut butter balls
We recommend avoiding too many cupcakes, since frosting can be easily damaged and cupcakes are more difficult to transport.
Packaging Makes a Major Difference! Items generally sell better when they are:
Individually wrapped or placed in covered disposable containers
Clearly named
Neatly presented
Offered in both individual portions and family-size packages
Packaged in a way that allows for easy whole-dollar pricing
Clearly marked “Homemade”
**Homemade-Baked-Goods Requirements To meet Lincoln County, Missouri Health Department requirements, all homemade baked goods must be:
Wrapped
Labeled with the item’s name
Labeled with a complete ingredient list
Clearly marked with any major food allergens
Labeled with the following statement: “Prepared in a kitchen that is not subject to inspection by the health department.”
((Store-bought baked goods may be donated in their original labeled packaging; no additional labeling is required.))
Thank you for sharing your time & talents to make this fundraiser a sweet success!! And for helping LCCOA provide meals to older home-bound adults throughout Lincoln County.
