Bake Club - 90's Nostalgia
We're getting nostalgic in Windsor-Essex and Bake Club is ready to get back to the 90's! Think your favourite childhood treats and shows!
📍 Location: 400 Erie St E Unit 3, Windsor, ON
📅 Date: September 27th
⏰ Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00PM: Treats on the table. Serving/cutting at 3:00PM sharp
🍸 Ticket includes: 1 drink ticket for the WindsorEats bar + 1 box to take home your treats + fork and napkins to enjoy
This event is perfect for anyone who loves baking, sweets, and hanging out with people who get it — whether you’re a total beginner or a full-on pastry pro.
What to Bring
Each guest must bring one 90's Nostalgia themed baked good to share.
Your dessert can be:
- Homemade or
- Purchased from a local small business
It must:
- Be shelf-stable (treats will be standing 30-1h min before cutting)
- Provide at LEAST 12 servings
- Bring your dessert on a serving tray, board, box, or stand for display. Disposable or non disposable are both great!
Examples:
- Cake, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, tarts, pies, cream puffs, cinnamon buns, macarons, cake pops, poptarts, danishes, bars, pavlovas, cookie sandwiches, etc.
When You Arrive
- We check your dessert for cleanliness
- Make a label for your treat and bring it to the table
- On arrival you will be assigned a group number. This will be the group in which you will go up to grab your treats. (There are 3 groups! Your group # is based on arrival time. Arrive early = get first pick plus get extra time to socialize 😉)
How the Dessert Swap Works
🕒 Cutting starts at 3:00 PM
Please arrive no later than 2:45 pm!
Each group will have up to 10 minutes to fill their box with their slices!
Before we cut anything, you’ll have time to:
- See all the desserts
- Take photos
Then the swap begins! The number of pieces you get is based on how many servings your dessert provides.
Example:
If your cake serves 12, you get to chose 12 pieces of other desserts. If you bring 20, you chose 20!
If you’re unsure how many servings your dessert makes, just ask us when you arrive!
Once all groups have had their 10 minutes, everyone is free to take whatever is left!
Important Notes
- Individual items (like cupcakes or cookies) will not be cut smaller — please keep sizes reasonable
- All desserts must be shelf-stable
- Everything must be on a tray or stand for display (disposable or reusable is ok)
After the Swap
There’s lots of seating inside and outside.
Windsor Eats will stay open with drinks, food, and games all afternoon and into the evening — so stick around and keep the party going 💖
