EVENT INFORMATION
BAHNO Annual Scientific Meeting, the only truly multidisciplinary conference for professionals involved in the study and treatment of head and neck cancer.
We are pleased to confirm that BAHNO 2026 will take place on Friday 15th May at The Business Design Centre, London.
The theme of the 2026 conference is Innovations in Head and Neck Oncology.
We look forward to seeing you in London in May!
BAHNO council recognises the high costs of attending meetings. The association is committed to ensuring access to education for all of our membership and to that end, have set aside a “BAHNO ASM Fund” to those in our multidisciplinary membership who need it most. This offers a 75% registration discount.We would ask any members who feel this applies to them to contact the BAHNO secretary ([email protected]), with brief details of your circumstances. All applications will be treated in strict confidence.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
- The annual scientific meeting aims to promote current research and an update on the management of head and neck cancer. The meeting is multidisciplinary and utilises, lectures, debates, presentations and posters.

WHAT TO EXPECT
- An update on the use of peri-operative immunotherapy in Head and Neck Cancer
- The Blair Hesketh Lecture presented by Professor Jean Bourhis
- Multi-disciplinary session for nursing and allied health professionals in head and neck cancer, including management of the catastrophic bleed, tracheostomy weaning and re-feeding syndrome
- An interactive panel discussion with the Liverpool MDT discussing real-world challenging cases
- A dedicated session focusing on career development, covering interviews, consultant jobs, shared decision making and consent – not to be missed for trainees
- The BAHNO Debate
- An update on the management of thyroid cancer, including the use of AI, trans-oral approaches and an update on non-surgical treatments
- The best presentations from research in the UK in our Free Papers and Poster sessions, with increased exposure for top scoring poster presentations with our new format

FEES
We are pleased to offer a super early bird fee which is limited to 100 tickets. Early bird registration closes Sunday 19th April at 23:59 BST.
Late tickets and final registration closes Thursday 14th May at 23:59 BST. Please note, these fees are significantly higher than the early bird rates. A limited number of onsite places have been reserved for registration on the day.
We have extended the venue capacity for 2026. As the event is increasingly popular, we strongly encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment, in the possibility that we sell out.
If you require an invoice, please contact [email protected]. Invoice requests can only be accepted 4 weeks before the event date on receipt of a completed application (deadline date Friday 17th April). After this time, we request that the fee is paid upfront at time of registration either by the participant personally, or by the hospital trust/departmental credit card. Changes to existing invoice requests could delay registration ahead of the event. We strongly recommend that invoices are requested at least 8 weeks ahead of the event to secure your place.
If your registration is made after 14 days prior to the event, we cannot guarantee that your requirements will be catered for appropriately. Please note that there may also be a delay to your check in on arrival.
