🌿 Bags for Brews Community Cleanup 🌿🤝 Beautify Shasta x Shasta Living Streets

Join us for a family-friendly cleanup along the bike trail leading down to the Diestelhorst Bridge! This is a great opportunity to care for a space that’s getting ready to become an important new community trail connection.

Thanks to Shasta Living Streets, volunteers who participate in the cleanup from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM are invited to head over to Pipeline Craft Taps afterward to hang out, socialize, and enjoy a drink on us.
How it works:
• Show up at 10:00 AM and participate in the cleanup
• Stick with us through noon
• Meet back at Pipeline Craft Taps and hang out with fellow volunteers
• Each participating volunteer gets one drink ticket
• Your ticket can be used for whatever you'd like to drink — beer, soda, water, or another available beverage
🧤 What to expect:
• Light litter pickup and trail care
• Flat, accessible terrain
• Kid-friendly and great for families
• A relaxed, welcoming pace
👟 What to bring:
• Closed-toed shoes
• Comfortable clothes for the weather
• Your own gloves or grabbers if you have them (supplies will also be available)
We’ll be working at Phu Topi — a Wintu phrase meaning “a place of heart and reflection.” This area is being shaped into a welcoming trail gateway where neighbors, families, students, and visitors can pause, connect, and enjoy the river corridor.
This is a chance to support a space that’s meant to be enjoyed again and again by our community — and then stick around afterward to enjoy some time together.
