🏸 Badminton & Social with Play IRL Social — Ages 30+
Fancy getting active, trying something new and meeting people locally? Join Play IRL Social for a relaxed, beginner-friendly badminton session for adults aged 30 and over.
The event takes place indoors in the sports hall at the venue listed above. Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or returning after a break, you’re welcome to join us.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Friendly badminton games in a relaxed setting.
• A chance to meet and chat with other people aged 30+.
• A welcoming host to greet you and help you settle in.
• Opportunities to play with different people during the session.
• Time to catch your breath and socialise between games.
You don’t need to be an experienced player. This session is about enjoying the game, getting moving and making connections.
COMING ALONE?
You’re very welcome! You don’t need to bring a playing partner or know anyone beforehand. We’ll help introduce you to other attendees and get you involved. Friends are welcome too.
WHAT TO BRING
• Comfortable clothing you can move in.
• Trainers suitable for an indoor sports hall.
• A bottle of water.
• Your badminton racket if you have one. If you need to hire a racket, please select the ticket option that includes racket hire.
FINDING US
When you arrive at the venue, head to the sports hall and look for your Play IRL Social host. Please arrive around 10 minutes before the session starts so we can welcome you and get ready to play.
