Welcome to our first ever Bad Ass Bowling Tournaments eventTHE BAD ASS OPEN WEEKEND
Tournament: Open Doubles
When: Saturday, October 31st, 2026
Where: Royal Crest Lanes, Lawrence, Kansas
Oil Pattern: Stone Street
Check-in: 7:45am
Practice: 8:50am
Start time: 9am
Entry Fee: $400 per team
Doubles teams can consist of any combination, men, women, senior, youth and no required average to bowl.
Bowlers will be bowling 7 games of qualifying and moving pairs every game.
After the 7 games of qualifying, we will announce the cashers which is a 1:6 payout.
Then we will also announce our top 5 who will be going into a baker style stepladder.
This stepladder will be 2 games total pin-fall matches until we crown our winners.
Winners will be receiving our projected prize fund of $5,000 based on 48 teams.
Handicap will be 70% of 420 with a cap of 56 pins per game, per team.
Any individual side action will be based on 70% of 210, with a 28 pin cap per game.
For the baker stepladder, if a team receives handicap, it will be cut in half for each game bowled in the stepladder finals. The cap will still come into play.
There will be side action available, high games, brackets, and singles options.
All scores will be posted using tournamentbowl.com. Everyone will be provided with a QR to keep track of scores, side action, and standings.
Players are responsible for checking scores/side action, and letting the tournament directors know if they see a mistake that needs correcting.

Practice: 8:50am

Entry fee: $200
This tournament is open to any bowler, female, male, senior, youth and no require average to bowl.
Players will bowl 8 games of qualifying moving pairs each game.
We will then announce the cashers, which will be 1:6 ratio.
Then we will announce the top 5 that will be entered into a stepladder where they will bowl 1 game matches head to head, to crown our winner.
Our winner will receive $3,000 guaranteed, regardless the amount of entries.
Handicap will be 70% of 210, with a cap of 28 pins per game.
There will be side action available, brackets and high games.
