2026 EDITION OF THE BACKYARD ULTRA LONGYEARBYEN is taking place saturday the 3rd of October, this time as a Backyard 24 hour run!
The course is 6,706 meters long, with a new yard (loop/lap) starting every hour, for as much as 24 yards - or 100 miles. That means you'll have 1 hour to complete each yard, with any remaining time used to rest, refeul and getting ready for a new yard.
Run as many yards you want to - wheter it's 1 or all 24.
As the 2025-edition, this will still be a free and accessible event for the local community, with the goal to spread the joy of running, while also giving the participants the chance to challenge themselves.
