For ten years, Blacklisted Tattoo Lounge has been built on art, culture, and the people who continue to support what we do. This October, we’re celebrating that journey with an exhibition dedicated to tattooing’s largest canvas: the full backpiece.
Inspired by the movement, composition, and monumental scale of classic Japanese bodysuits—but interpreted through completely different visual languages.
No dragons. No koi.
Expect Americana folklore, Chicano culture, horror, religious iconography, black-and-grey realism, neo-traditional, fine line, graffiti, illustrative work, surrealism, and styles that refuse to fit into a category.
Every artwork will be created as a complete backpiece. Every artist will bring their own identity, storytelling, and vision to the same powerful format.
