About this Event
Class is officially in session! 🎓
Join Professor Diamond Reynolds, CPA, MSA for Back to School for Entrepreneurs with Professor Reynolds — The Live Experience, an interactive evening of entrepreneurial education, practical business strategies, and networking at TechTown Detroit.
After working with entrepreneurs for more than a decade, Professor Reynolds recognized a common challenge: many talented business owners start businesses without ever being taught the fundamentals of actually operating one. For some, they are the first entrepreneurs in their families and may not have had access to mentorship or guidance. Others simply started with a great idea, a skill, or a passion—and learned everything else along the way.
Back to School for Entrepreneurs was created to help bridge that education gap.
During The Live Experience, attendees will go “back to school” and progress through the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior levels of entrepreneurial education. Professor Reynolds will combine live instruction, practical examples, audience interaction, and previews from the online Back to School for Entrepreneurs platform.
Topics throughout the curriculum include business structure, accounting and financial information, understanding costs, pricing, business credit, minority business certification, tax strategies, retirement planning, and other strategies for operating and growing a business.
This isn't your typical business seminar. It's an opportunity to learn, connect, ask questions, and experience what it means to become a student of your own business.
The evening will also include networking with fellow entrepreneurs and the official introduction of the Back to School for Entrepreneurs Complete Program.
