On Tuesday, October 27, one of downtown Portland's historic buildings comes back to life. Join The Rising Cities, UrbanWork, and Pretty Gritty Tours as we celebrate two milestones under one roof: the grand opening of UrbanWork's new Bullier location and the grand reopening of Kelly's Olympian, the beloved bar and venue that's been part of Portland since 1902, now with a whole new look.
The Experience
Your evening starts at 4:00 PM with your first drink on us. From there, Chris Staudinger of Pretty Gritty Tours will lead you through the building on a guided historical tour. You'll hear the stories, characters, and forgotten details that shaped 426 SW Washington St long before today.
After the tour, Reid Fetters will share how the space was reimagined. He'll explain what it took to turn a historic building into a modern home for work, community, and nightlife, and what this kind of revival means for downtown Portland.
Appetizers are included throughout the evening.
Stick Around for the Open House
At 6:30 PM, the doors open to everyone for a free open house with live music. Explore UrbanWork Bullier, settle into the new Kelly's Olympian, and celebrate with neighbors, business owners, and fellow Portlanders. Bring a friend, even if they didn't grab a ticket.
