Back Alley String Band plays the Huey's in Southwind (in Memphis) as an expanded quintet featuring Ethan Baker and Carlos Gonzalez! We play on Sunday, September 27 from 6 to 9pm.BASB is a North MS/Memphis based string band trio that plays a mixture of Old Time, Bluegrass, Jug Band, Hill Country Blues, Irish Trad, Jazz, and much more, covers and originals. The group consists of Andy Ratliff (guitars, banjo, mandolin, vocals), John Kilgore (guitars, ukulele, vocals) and John Kveen (upright bass, maybe vocals). In its expanded quintet version we are excited to welcome Ethan Baker (violin) and Carlos Gonzalez (mandolin and charango) to the band!
