Back Alley String Band is excited to be playing live on Thacker Mountain Radio Hour in Oxford at the Powerhouse on Thursday, October 8!The location of this event and time frame are subject to change we do not have all the details yet. But we will be playing on October 8, that is for certain!
BASB is a North MS/Memphis based string band trio that plays a mixture of Old Time, Bluegrass, Jug Band, Irish Trad, Hill Country Blues, Jazz, and much more, covers and originals. The group consists of Andy Ratliff (guitars, banjo, mandolin, vocals), John Kilgore (guitars, ukulele, vocals) and John Kveen (upright bass, maybe vocals).
Admission is free so come enjoy this time honored Oxford tradition that will include live performances from multiple musical groups (including of course the Yalobushwhackers) and an interview with a featured author of fine literature.
