✨Bachata – Intensive Weekend Workshop for beginners.Would you like to learn bachata? This intensive weekend workshop gives you a fun and accessible introduction to one of the world’s most popular Latin partner dances.
Bachata originated in the Dominican Republic and is known for its distinctive rhythm, smooth movements and connection between partners.
Over 2 hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday, you’ll learn bachata from the very beginning. We’ll work on basic steps, rhythm, leading and following, simple turns and combinations that you can use on the social dance floor.
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and requires no previous dance experience. You don’t need to bring a partner – we rotate partners throughout the class.
✨Leader or follower?
In partner dancing, you dance as either a leader or a follower. These roles are not gender-specific, and you choose which role you would like to dance when registering.
