About this Event
Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Field Trip Series
Step into a quiet, supportive space designed for integration, reflection, and practice. This weekly lab is part of our Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher: Trauma-Informed pathway at Edge Yoga School, offering students a grounded environment to deepen their understanding through experience.
At Edge Yoga School, this year-round Yoga and Ayurveda integration pathway is designed for yoga teachers and dedicated students who want a deeper, more integrated way to study, practice, and teach. The training supports real learning through repetition, sangha, tea, anatomy study, book club conversation, and practicum-based teaching experience. It is not a fast-track certification. It is a steady, old-school, in-person learning environment with modern flexibility.
Inside the Salt Cave, the lab becomes an immersive setting for guided discussion, reflection, embodied learning, and practice teaching. Students are invited to explore movement, breath, subtle body awareness, and communication skills while growing within a supportive community. This pathway is designed to help students embody, discuss, practice, and offer what they learn in a community setting.
This training integrates Ayurvedic teachings, yoga anatomy education, tea as an embodied learning practice, sangha-based learning, student leadership development, and practicum preparation. Students move through the program progressively, beginning with attendance and observation, then moving into shadowing, peer-led participation, and eventually offering workshops and practicum experiences themselves.
This is not a program to diagnose or prescribe. It is an educational and integrative space designed to help students study, embody, and respectfully share timeless practices in a way that is accessible, grounded, and aligned with scope of practice.
Each session supports thoughtful discussion, workbook and journal-based integration, peer learning, and the development of real teaching readiness over time. Students are not only learning content. They are learning how to hold space, communicate clearly, and teach responsibly.
This lab is well suited for yoga teachers and serious students who value rhythm, reflection, tea, conversation, and embodied learning within a supportive but serious training environment. It offers a meaningful way to experience the steady structure, compassionate support, and real-world application that shape the Edge Yoga School path.
*Location subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Alternate locations will be offered in DuPage County should the need arise.
