About this Event
Ayurvedic Cooking Workshop: Healing Drinks from the Indian Kitchen
In Ayurveda, what we drink can be just as powerful as the food we eat. Traditional Indian kitchens have long used simple beverages made with spices, herbs, and natural ingredients to support digestion, calm the mind, strengthen immunity, and restore balance in everyday life.
This interactive Ayurvedic cooking workshop explores the rich tradition of healing drinks that have been prepared for generations as part of daily wellness. Rather than focusing only on recipes, Ayurveda teaches us how ingredients work together to support digestion, energy, and seasonal balance. Spices like turmeric, ginger, cumin, fennel, and cardamom are not only flavorful — they are carefully combined to stimulate digestive fire, soothe the nervous system, and nourish the body.
During this hands-on session, participants will learn how to prepare several traditional Ayurvedic beverages while also exploring the principles behind them — why certain ingredients are paired together, how they support the body, and when they are best consumed for maximum benefit.
This workshop offers practical techniques and simple recipes that can easily become part of your daily routine, helping transform ordinary drinks into small rituals that support long-term wellbeing.
