AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course Overview
This course is designed for nurses and healthcare professionals who have at least 6 months of foundational fetal monitoring experience and want to strengthen their skills in fetal heart rate interpretation and maternal-fetal assessment. Participants will learn to identify common fetal heart rate patterns, recognize potential complications, and apply evidence-based interventions.
The course uses case studies, interactive discussion, and hands-on practice to enhance critical thinking and clinical decision-making in labor and delivery settings.
