"Matt is a dedicated guitarist who has done his homework well. Obviously a student of the blues, he hasn't let the scholarship damp down the fire in his playing. Go see him, he's the real deal." -Bill Kirchen
"Matt Kelley's guitar playing is fully representational of the new young guitar Turks, who draw from the past masters of the instrument, and display a newer, lean and taught virtuosity. Try to catch him in action and revel in the fireworks!" -Bobby Radcliff.
GUY BOUCHIE (guitar & vocals)
Guy will be representing the DC Blues Society at the 2027 Int'l Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN!
"Blazing through Blues standards and original compositions, Guy Bouchie builds on the blues tradition of singing guitar slingers such as Freddie King, Magic Sam, and Michael Bloomfield, adding a fresh take and his personal brand of high energy performance."
"Informed by years of playing everything from dive bar residencies to opening for Willie Nile and Parker Barrow, Guy's passion for the blues shines through."
