Awaken Sessions is hosting a Writer’s Room Session built around a Hook Challenge — a creative night for songwriters, musicians, and singers to come together and create collaboratively.
This is not a worship service and not a performance night. It’s a creative room.
For this session, we’ll group participants based on gifting (writers, musicians, singers), either in smaller teams or collaboratively as one group depending on attendance. Each group will be given a focused window of time to create a hook or chorus idea — nothing polished, just real, in-the-room creativity.
At the end of the night, we’ll record the hooks in a raw, session-style format and capture video content throughout the process. These hooks will be shared individually online, and the ones that gain momentum will help determine what we press into further in future sessions.
There’s no pressure to finish songs — the goal is collaboration, chemistry, and discernment.
This session is intentional and participation-based, not drop-in. Space is limited so we can protect the creative environment.
