AWAKEN is coming to Clemson.
The Still Single, Still Called Hub Network is officially launching in Clemson, South Carolina. And this launch carries one word: AWAKEN.
AWAKEN is a Christ-centered gathering for Christian singles who desire to grow deeper with God, understand their identity in Christ, embrace their purpose and calling, and build meaningful biblical community.
THE HEART BEHIND AWAKEN
The heart behind AWAKEN is rooted in two pictures from Scripture.
In Ezekiel 37, God brings Ezekiel into a valley filled with dry bones and asks, "Can these bones live?" What appeared dry, lifeless, and beyond restoration was not beyond the breath of God.
Then in Isaiah 43:19, God declares, "See, I am doing a new thing."
That is the heart of AWAKEN. It is a call to believe that what has felt dry can live again. Faith can be renewed. Purpose can be rediscovered. Dreams can breathe again. Community can be rebuilt. And God can begin something new in a season that may have felt delayed, overlooked, or misunderstood.
WHAT DOES AWAKEN MEAN?
Awaken to God. Awaken to identity. Awaken to purpose. Awaken to calling. Awaken to community.
Singleness is not a dead season. It is not a pause button on life, and it is not a waiting room for purpose. God is still working. God is still speaking. God is still calling. Your life is happening now, and you are still called.
WHAT IS THE STILL SINGLE, STILL CALLED HUB?
The Still Single, Still Called Hub Network is a Christ-centered discipleship community that helps Christian singles grow in Christ, embrace their God-given identity and purpose, and build authentic biblical community. The Hub creates spaces for Christian singles to:
• Grow spiritually
• Study and apply Scripture
• Worship and pray together
• Have honest conversations
• Develop healthy Christian friendships
• Discover and steward their gifts and calling
• Live faithfully and purposefully in their current season
The Still Single, Still Called Hub Network is a ministry initiative of Single and Soaring Inc.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT AWAKEN
• Worship: a time centered on Jesus and His presence
• Biblical teaching: Scripture-centered teaching on renewal, identity, purpose, and calling
• Prayer: space to seek God personally and pray together
• Panel conversation: honest, practical talk about faith, singleness, purpose, relationships, calling, and everyday life
• Authentic community: meet other believers who want to follow Jesus and build Christ-centered friendships
WHO IS AWAKEN FOR?
Christian singles ages 18 and older: never-married adults, college and graduate students, young professionals, working adults, single parents, divorced and widowed singles, and men and women across every season of adulthood.
You do not have to attend Clemson University or belong to a specific church or denomination. If you desire to grow in Christ and experience authentic Christian community, you are welcome.
IS THIS A SINGLES MIXER?
No. 🙂 AWAKEN is not a dating event or singles mixer. The Hub is first and foremost a discipleship community. Friendships may naturally develop, but our goal is not to help you "find someone." Our goal is to help you follow Jesus faithfully in the season you are already in.
