? AVONIEL BONFIRE 2026 ?Come down to Flora Street Walkway on the 11th July for a proper night of craic ??
Every year we burn the bonfire to keep the tradition alive — it’s all about remembering the past, bringing the community together, and having a good laugh on the 11th night. Hundreds of pallets have already gone into this beast and there’s still more to add!
We’ve got:
? A DJ pumping tunes right at the bonfire site
? 5-star food trucks sorting the grub
? A smaller kids bonfire lit at 10PM for the wee ones with early bedtimes
? Fireworks going off before the main bonfire at midnight
The community proper grafted to make this happen on the walkway this year. Some folk weren’t happy about it, but we came together anyway and made sure the bonfire went ahead ?
