Step beyond the velvet ropes and explore the art and history of Smiths Falls. The museum will be open Wednesday - Sunday, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm. Special displays for fall 2026 include Forged in the Falls (Manufacturing Highlights in Smiths Falls), Smiths Falls - Heart of the Rideau, Rideau Artist of the Year - Art Show & Sale. Open concept Victorian period rooms feature artifacts made in Smiths Falls or from local families.
The Lanark County Genealogical Society Reference Library is availble in the lower level to research local people and family histories.
