According to Chinese Medicine, Fall is the "season of the Lungs". The Lungs are associated with the immune system, the clarity of one's complexion/skin, and the emotions of greif and sadness. When the "Lung energy" is out of balance, we are more prone to catching colds, our skin may be dull, congested, or dry, our voice may be soft-spoken or weak, and we may feel a sense of melancholy.
This Fall class series will focus on gentle movements, breathwork, and deep stretches to help you balance the "Lung energy", boot your immune system, and move through grief, past or present. You will learn gentle, relaxing breath + movement sequences to keep your body healthy and strong in the Fall season, and beyond.
Whether you're a beginner or seasoned practitioner, this series is perfect for anyone looking to cultivate a sense of calm and well-being.
