Autumn Painting Wellbeing Session with Blank Canvas CIC ππ¨Take a moment for yourself, free up space in your mind, and enjoy getting creative. β¨
Hull Parent Carer Forum is delighted to partner with Blank Canvas CIC for an autumnal painting workshop designed exclusively for parent carersπ . Blank Canvas will gently guide us through the session, helping us create a beautiful, autumn-inspired piece of art πποΈ.
Whether you are trying painting for the very first time or it is something you do regularly, it absolutely does not matter! This session is all about taking the time to try your hand, get creative, and have fun π. Art is often deeply therapeutic; focusing on the canvas can offer a much-needed mental release, helping to free up space in your mind from daily pressures and worries β¨.
Why we host Wellbeing Sessions πΏ
As an organisation, we support parent carers of children and young people with SEND and disabilities.ο»Ώο»Ώ Because we are parent carers ourselves, navigating life with children who have a variety of needs including neurodivergencesο»Ώ and complex physical and medical needs, we fully understand your world.
We know firsthand the emotional impact that supporting your child or young person can have on your own wellbeing β€οΈβπ©Ή. We understand how important it is to reduce isolation and offer a completely safe space to make connections with others who understand each other's day-to-day life π€.
Our events are put on specifically to improve your wellbeing, offering you a short amount of time exclusively for yourself to meet others and relax in a warm, non-judgmental environment βπΏ.
