Join us for a special autumn cultural experience at Jike Furusato Village, a peaceful countryside area in Yokohama where traditional rural landscapes, rice fields, woodland and the beauty of the Japanese seasons can still be enjoyed.
We will begin with a leisurely walk through the village, taking in the beautiful autumn scenery and experiencing the atmosphere of traditional Japanese countryside life.
After our walk, we will enjoy a seasonal Japanese lunch at Jike Hirasawa, an elegant Japanese restaurant surrounded by nature.
During lunch, Sakura Aoyama, author and etiquette instructor, will introduce you to the art of Japanese table manners in a relaxed and friendly way.
You will discover not only how to use chopsticks beautifully, but also the meaning and customs behind Japanese dining etiquette — how to handle bowls, enjoy different dishes, and appreciate a meal in the Japanese way.
No previous knowledge of Japanese culture or etiquette is required.
This is not simply a sightseeing tour, but an intimate opportunity to experience the beauty, flavors and traditions of everyday Japan.
