Looking for something fun to do outdoors this October half term? Come and explore the sights, sounds, colours and textures of autumn with us.
Our family activity sessions for children aged 3–10 will include:
🔎 Scavenger hunts
🐸 Pond dipping
🧪 Smelly potions
🎨 Autumn crafts
🌱 And plenty more outdoor fun
Sessions:
• Friday 30 October 2026: 3–5pm
• Saturday 31 October 2026: 11am–1pm and 3–5pm
• Saturday 31 October 2026: 3–5pm
Cost: £8.50 per child for a 2-hour session, plus the Eventbrite fee.
You can avoid the Eventbrite fee by paying in our office. Adults go free, and entrance to Martineau Gardens is free.
This is a family learning activity, so a parent or other adult will need to join in the activity with their child. Additional adults are welcome too, although space in the activity area is limited. There’s plenty to explore around the gardens while you’re here.
Please dress for the weather - activities take place outdoors in the gardens and under a gazebo.
We serve hot and cold drinks (donations welcome), but not food, so please bring anything you need for your family.
Advance booking is essential.
Book your session via the link or at our offices.
