About this Event
The Fabulous 40th Season of KC's professsional Chamber Orchestra launches the season with brilliant string music in the incredible stone cathedral sounds of Grace and Holy Trinity downtown where they started many years ago. Lighting up your life in the way little else can:
--the striking music of Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings,
--Vask's soaring and shimmering Lonely Angel watching over the earth,
--settings of great romantic poetry by Kansas City’s own Jean Belmont Ford, featuring Alyssa Nance, soprano.
