About this Event
Our hedgerows and green spaces are bursting with plants that have healing properties. On this forage you'll join Medical Herbalist, Nicola Fenton to explore the old quarry in Stamford, which has been magnificently been taken over by nature, stopping along the way to discover the medicinal virtues of familiar plants and be introduced to plants that you might not have noticed before!
Along the way, we'll discover what's still blooming this Autumn, the new growth of Autumn's "second spring" and the seeds and roots of the season.
This will be a relaxed short walk in distance, over flat but uneven ground - there will be plenty of stops as we meet the plants along our way.
We will meet at the Little Casterton Road entrance of the quarry - an email will be sent out prior to the forage to those booked on!
