About this Event
At the Autumn Equinox, day and night meet in a moment of near-equal balance. It is a threshold in the seasonal cycle: summer is beginning to loosen its hold, the light is waning and we turn towards the darker, quieter months of the year.
The Equinox also invites us to explore balance, not as something static or perfect, but as a relationship between the different parts of ourselves and our lives. Light and dark. Action and rest. Outer and inner. Known and unknown. Doing and receiving. What is seen and what is still quietly unfolding beneath the surface.
Rather than fearing the darker half of the year, we can enter it intentionally, carrying our own inner fire with us. A time to strengthen our roots, listen more closely to our inner wisdom and make space for rest, reflection and renewal.
Together we’ll share seasonal ritual, reflection, meditation, gentle embodied practice and connection, before planting an intention for the inner journey ahead, something we can return to when the light begins to rise again at the Spring Equinox. All of this will be supported by the heart-opening medicine of cacao.
In nature, this is a time of gathering in. Fruits, berries, nuts and seeds ripen. The energy of the trees begins its journey down towards the roots. What has grown through spring and summer is harvested, preserved and stored, while the land slowly prepares for rest. We will gather in circle to explore this movement within ourselves. What has ripened in your own life? What are you proud of, grateful for or ready to celebrate? What have you created, learned or become through the brighter months? And, just as we might W**d a garden, cut back what has finished flowering and compost what is no longer needed, what are you ready to clear away?
A space to gather in your harvest.
To celebrate what has grown.
To compost what has completed.
And to choose what you wish to carry with you.
