What is the equinox?
The Autumn Equinox marks the point in the year when day and night are of equal length. From this point forwards, the nights begin to draw in, the temperature begins to drop, and other visible seasonal changes happen. It has been celebrated in different forms across the Northern Hemisphere for centuries. The event is open to everyone, whether you regularly celebrate this time or your just want some space to reflect.
About Jasmine Road Community Gardens
This is a hidden Gem in the Heart of Dudley! It is open to everyone, we especially try to encourage local people, who want to either contribute to the Communal Beds or to have a Small plot of their own to grow Fruit and Vegetables.
We have 3 Polytunnels, a Woodland Area and Wildlife Pond. Our most recent project under development is the is Peace & Relaxation Garden. We have a Nature School, Stage and Picnic Area for holding our Friends of Jasmine Road Events and a Community House with a Front Bee and Butterfly Friendly Garden and a Kitchen Garden at the Rear.
