Join local birder Matthew Harrison for a walk from Trow Point to South Shields Pier in search of migrating and coastal birds.
Target species for this walk include: Yellow-browed Warbler, Purple Sandpiper, Red Wing, Stonechat.
Public transport Directions from Newcastle City Centre: Take the metro to South Shields, then either walk or take the E1 or 10 bus from South Shields Interchange to Mowbray Road New Crown.
Please bring optics if possible, as well as suitable clothing..
