Join us for a hands-on, deeply relaxing workshop exploring gel plate monoprinting, where we will capture the rich organic textures of late autumn and early winter—from fallen leaves and skeleton foliage to festive botanical prints and simple seasonal cards.
Whether you are looking to create unique handmade art prints, patterned papers for journaling, or one-of-a-kind holiday greetings, this session offers a wonderful space to slow down, play with color, and let nature inspire your creativity.
What to Expect
- Hands-On Gel Plate Techniques: Learn how to apply water-based inks and paints, build rich background layers, and lift stunning botanical prints using a gel plate.
- Seasonal Textures & Motifs: Explore how to press leaves, grasses, and winter textures directly into your plates, as well as create simple seasonal and holiday-inspired card designs.
- Creative Freedom: Experiment freely in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. No prior printmaking experience is needed—absolute beginners and returning makers are equally welcome.
- All Materials Provided: All paints, papers, card blanks, and printing tools are supplied. Everything used is vegan, eco-friendly, and safe.
