About the event
Join us for a practical training session designed to build educators’ confidence in using Autodesk Fusion for manufacturing and CAM.
The session will focus on practical applications of Fusion, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills and explore how CAD/CAM can support engineering and manufacturing education.
The session is aimed at colleagues who already have some experience of CAD, CAM or manufacturing and want to develop their Fusion manufacturing skills further.
What to expect
- Develop your Fusion skills - Build your confidence using Autodesk Fusion for manufacturing, with a focus on practical CAM applications.
- Explore programme setup and tool libraries - Develop your understanding of setting up programmes and working with tool libraries within Fusion.
- Understand simulation and toolpathing - Explore how simulation and toolpathing can be used to plan and prepare manufacturing processes.
- Develop your machining knowledge - The session will cover 2.5-axis and 3-axis machining, providing practical development opportunities for educators working in engineering and manufacturing.
Please note: 5-axis machining will not be covered in this session.
Who is it for?
This session is aimed at engineering and technical educators, teachers and technicians who have some existing experience in CAD, CAM or manufacturing and want to develop their Autodesk Fusion manufacturing skills.
It is particularly relevant for colleagues looking to strengthen their technical knowledge and bring current engineering and manufacturing practice into their teaching.
