A sensitive, neuro-affirming workshop exploring Autistic mental health and why some children and young adults may self-harm. We will consider the impact of overwhelm, masking, burnout, bullying, sensory, unmet needs and difficulties identifying or communicating distress. Parents and carers will gain practical guidance on recognising possible warning signs, responding without judgement, having supportive conversations and helping a young person access appropriate support.
Our parent-carer workshops in Thanet and other events are subsidised through fundraising, donations, and by companies and organisations that purchase our training packages. Thank you for your support.
