"Autism Welcomed Gives It's Last Nov.& Dec. Hugs to the Ocala Drive-in 😢"#SMAARTMom & Dustin are sadly announcing news that has broken their hearts. For many years our beloved symbol has lived here giving so many that feeling of welcome and the opportunity to experience a piece of history many of us grew up with watching movies at the drive-in. Unfortunately, To all of our long time and new Autism Welcomed Decal Symbol Followers November and December will be our last time to enjoy our long time beloved Drive-in due to its closing of new buyers and the well deserved retirement to our very sweet friend and owner, John. Thank you to the owner of this wonderful place for the many magical years of Autism Welcoming and Understanding you have given Dustin and I as well as all of our families who have joined us over the years here.
It is unclear at this time the ultimate fate of our long time Ocala Drive in, if the new buyers will continue movie history here, or like most developers, demolish this historical landmark of amazing memories.
I will keep you posted once the new year begins.
So, in light of what I've shared , I sincerely hope and strongly encourage you and your family to join us for our November and December's "LAST" Test Drives at the Ocala Drive in before its too late.
Drive In Hearts Test-Dr 💙🚗 is a gentle “test drive” for new and seasoned Autism Welcomed Symbol Friends in the comfort of their familiar family vehicle. This event gives your family space to experience nostalgia at its finest, breathe, and enjoy being out together—no pressure, no judgment.
Tickets are available at $3.ea person attending ages 5 and older. Children under 5 yrs old there will be no charge. As always , each ticket purchased will automatically be entered in our Autism Welcomed Raffle. There will also be concession vouchers available at $10.each voucher which will be available to purchase as well and is kindly asked that at least one concession voucher be purchased per vehicle.
